The Perfect Way to Spend a Summer Afternoon

There’s nothing in the world quite like a beautiful summer afternoon in Temecula wine country. Here at Uncorked Tours, there’s nothing we love more than sharing the experience of a relaxing afternoon spent enjoying some of the best wines in the world. It’s absolutely beautiful in our neck of the woods, and if you’re looking for a great way to spend a part of your summer, nothing else quite compares to a day spent with us.

Our winery tours are comprised of four hours of fun as we take you to our favorite places in town. There are three stops along the tour, and we also serve champagne and mimosas as we travel. One of our guides will be there to share facts, tell you about the history of wine country, and even take photos for you. In other words, it’s the most ideal way to spend a part of your summer. Whether you’re visiting from down the road or across the world, we can pretty much guarantee that a day spent with Uncorked Tours will provide you with memories that will last a lifetime.

3 Tips for the Perfect Wine Tour

Dress Comfortably

Having been in this line of work for quite some time, one of our best pieces of advice is to dress comfortably for your tour. As you can probably imagine, it gets warm in Temecula, with temperatures frequently getting into the 90s and even touching 100 degrees in July. Sampling amazing wines is always a blast, but there’s nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable. For many, shorts and some type of short sleeve shirt do the trick perfectly, but ultimately it’s up to you. Either way, we’re sure that you’ll have the time of your life!

Pick Up Souvenirs

One of the best parts of getting to visit some of the best wineries in our neck of the woods is purchasing souvenirs to take home with you. In addition to the one that we give you for booking your tour (which varies depending on a number of different factors), you can also pick things up at the wineries we visit on the tour. As we mentioned earlier, the experience you have is sure to be memorable, and taking home some souvenirs with you is a great choice because then you have a memento (or, let’s be honest here, mementos) to remember your trip by.

Spend the Rest of the Day Relaxing

Our final piece of advice about how to make the most of one of our Uncorked wine tours is to not overdo it. In other words, our group tours take place daily between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and we recommend making the full day one that is restful and relaxing. When you’re done with the tour, head back to your hotel room for a quick nap. After all, when is the last time you were able to take a nap? From there, grab dinner at a restaurant you’re interested in, and take it from us that there are plenty of great ones to choose from around here! You could also schedule a tee time at a local golf course, take a leisurely stroll through Old Town Temecula, or go on a tour at a nearby farm. There’s plenty to do, so do some research, think about what a relaxing day looks like for you, and make it happen!
